VIDEO SERIES:

ACEC Nebraska has created a unique video series that introduces students of all ages to the exciting world of engineering and the role engineers play in shaping the “built environment”—the places where we live, work, and play. Each video is tailored to meet students where they are. We encourage anyone to use these videos—especially educators—or anyone who wants to explain what an engineering career could look like!

What We Offer:

  • Engaging videos for grades K–12 that show what engineers do every day.
  • PowerPoint presentations designed for students, educators, and engineers.
  • Mentoring Emerging Engineers Together (MEET)—Our MEET Program connects University of Nebraska College of Engineering undergraduate and graduate students with Professional Engineers for meaningful mentorship opportunities
MEET PROGRAM

This video invites viewers to witness the impact of engineers in our everyday lives. From protecting animals at the zoo, to designing safer roads, to lighting up stadiums, and keeping skyscrapers moving—engineers are behind it all. Here, we show engineers in action across places we all know and enjoy. The video ends with a call to action: if you’re curious, creative, and want to make the world better… Become an Engineer.

GET INVOLVED:
